If we want to move from one WDW resort to a new WDW resort, will Mickey's friends move our bags to new room? We want to spend a bday night in Royal room, then we need the space of family suite. Thanks

    Hi Kristine!

Doing a split stay at Walt Disney World allows guest to enjoy the decor and ambiance of two...or more... Disney hotels!

Switching from one resort to another is a fairly easy process. When you are ready to check out of the first hotel, you can pack your bags and take them to bell services. When at bell services, inform them that you will be transferring to your second hotel. They will tag your bags and give you a receipt. When you are ready to check in to your second hotel, take a bus from the parks or Downtown Disney to that hotel. You can check in and then head to bell services to retrieve your bags. Keep in mind that luggage transfer time may take a while, so give bell services a few hours to get your bags to the right hotel.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
