    When is the motorcade Star Wars weekend?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauri! Star Wars Weekends is one of my family's favorite special events held at Disney's Hollywood Studios each year!  A Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade and Hyperspace Hoopla are on the top of our "must see" list for each Star Wars Weekends that we attend! Although the official schedule for Star Wars Weekends 2013 has not been released at this time, I can tell you that A Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade began near the Main Entrance of Disney's Hollywood Studios at 12:40 p.m. in 2012. Be sure to pick up the special times guide for Star Wars Weekends when entering Disney's Hollywood Studios for up to date show times, parade times, and other special events that will be happening throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend securing a spot for the parade at least 45 minutes to one hour prior to the parade start as guests starting getting seats very early for the motorcade in 2012. We also found the time of day to be very sunny and hot so I would plan accordingly. I hope this information helps!
