Ahoy, Danielle and welcome back aboard!
Your question made me smile because as my own daughter nears adulthood, I dream of special vacations we can take together in the future. And I envision us sailing with Disney Cruise Line and lounging by the Quiet Cove Pool, visiting the Senses Spa and Salon for pampering and dining at Palo and Remy on those vacations!
Danielle, two of my last three Disney Cruise Line vacations have been three-night cruises. On both of these sailings, I felt very relaxed although I still enjoyed some of my favorite onboard activities. I went into them knowing I wasn't going to rush from event to event and that I wanted to let the cruise unfold as it went along. As you think about how to make the most of your mother/daughter cruise, I do think you need to schedule at least one meal at Palo and/or Remy. They are both amazing culinary experiences so if you can reserve a meal at both; your palate will be pleased! I also think it might be fun to reserve a beverage tasting. These are offered for a nominal fee, only last about an hour and can be booked online once your onboard booking window opens up. When I've cruised with adults only, I enjoyed listening to the live music offered in La Piazza located in Europa. Another fun way to unwind is to take in one of the first-run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre and the live, Broadway-style productions in the Walt Disney Theatre. The Disney Fantasy offers some of my favorite shows in the entire fleet! I also think a mother/daughter vacation has to include some sort of indulgence at the
Senses Spa and Salon. There is a lot to choose from including massages, facials or maybe even a mani/pedi!
The Disney Fantasy is such a beautiful vessel that I know the two of you will enjoy every minute! And you'll leave this ship with some very priceless and treasured memories.
