Welcome to planDisney, Brian!
I am thrilled to chat with you about possibly staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. As
Disney Vacation Club Members, we are absolutely wild about the amazing animals roaming the savannas and the proximity to
Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Let's look at using
Vacation Points to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.
That is an incredibly generous offer from your Mother to use her DVC Points to stay at Animal Kingdom Villas! If she does end up making the reservation for you, then her Points would only cover the Villa accommodation. So, while you would not need to pay anything for the room reservation made with DVC Points, you would need to purchase
theme park tickets. If you are only interested in visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom, then you could always purchase a one-day ticket. Keep in mind that even if you decide not to visit the theme parks, there is no shortage of options for entertainment around
Walt Disney World Resort. I highly recommend exploring
Disney Springs or trying new cuisine at restaurants like
Sanaa. I hope this helps you make a decision about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions.
Enjoy making magical memories!
