Can my mother in law who lives in Florida purchase do resident tickets for her grandkids but not be present when we get to Disney world

Welcome to planDisney, Dana!  I am glad you found your way to us since your Walt Disney World Resort visit is coming up in just a few short days!

There are some pretty great special offers on tickets just for Florida residents, including the recently announced Disney Weekday Magic Ticket.  Your mother-in-law is welcome to purchase tickets for her grandchildren under the age of 18 using her Florida resident discount.  However, she will need to provide proof of Florida residency to activate the tickets in person at a Guest Relations location or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.  Perhaps Grandma would like to join in on all the fun!  There is something extra special when the whole family gathers together to enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.  If your mother-in-law will not be able to join you this visit or be present to activate the tickets, you will need to explore other ticket options.

It is also important to know that each Guest age 3 and up will need a Disney Park Pass reservation as well as valid admission to enter a theme park.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time during The World's Most Magical Celebration.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
