Hi, my mother in law is coming with us and would like to pay for her drinks and souvenirs separately. We have our card linked to the stateroom. Will she have a separate key linked to her onboard cash account even though we are in the same room?

    Welcome aboard, Faith!

It's so exciting to plan your big cruise with Disney, isn't it? I love when my family has extended family or friends join us on our cruises because there is so much more fun in store! Your mother-in-law is very lucky to get to sail with her family and get to enjoy so many magical memories together!

When you begin your online check-in for your cruise, (75 days prior to sailing for first time Disney Cruise Line guests, and 90 or more days prior for those who have sailed with Disney before), you'll get to select whose charged you'll cover with your credit card on the Payment Authorization Form page. Just click on your immediate family members names. Your mother-in-law can then assign her own credit card for her account that is linked to her Key To The World Card. If you have any issues online or you forget to set her up separately, don't worry. Guest Services onboard can help you with it too, and she'll then be able to charge whatever she likes and pay her own separate account.

Have fun planning, Faith, and please stop back with more questions as you count down to the big sail date! We're happy to help!
