    My mother is a Florida resident and wants to buy my family annual passes as a gift. Can she do that even though we are not Florida residents?

    I love it when a fellow Texan stops by planDisney with a question for us. 

    How very thoughtful of your mother to want to give the gift of magic to your family. It’s always so much fun to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth with the people you love most. 

    Unfortunately, your mom would not be able to purchase Florida-resident Annual Passes for anyone living out of state because all Guests using a Florida-specific Annual Pass would have to verify their residency. At this time, only the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is available for purchase, while the Annual Passes for Guests residing out of state are paused. 

    Might I make a suggestion? If your family has Mouseketeers under the age of 18, your mother would be able to purchase Walt Disney World Resort Florida Resident theme park tickets for them. She would need to activate the tickets by showing her Proof of Florida Residency at any of the ticket windows at the theme parks or the Guest Services location at Disney Springs.
