My mother has difficulty walking and wants to utilize a scooter in the parks. Last time we did this, we grew wearing of using it on the buses. Do the ECVs in the parks run out, or is there usually a good chance of getting one even later in the day?

    Hi Ellen,
Thanks for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! While you can rent your Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) in the park at the Walt Disney World Resort, be aware that if you park hop or arrive to a park late in the afternoon, there is a good chance that all the ECVs will have been rented out for the day. While it can be inconvenient to load and unload on and off the buses with your own ECV (one you brought with you or an ECV rented from an outside firm), you will be assured to have one throughout the day and not risk having to push a wheelchair or walk.

Ellen, I hope this helps you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please come back and see us with any additional questions you may have.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
