Hiya, Spencer! It won't be long before Mickey and Minnie welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Hot dog!
Oh boy! Oh boy! Let's see if we can solve the ticket connection issue. My first guess is that the tickets may already be linked to your mother. If she logged into her
MyDisney account and purchased them online, they should show under her account. She just needs to assign them to your family. Your mom can
check online by logging in and selecting the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab. Next to each ticket will be a dropdown box labeled "Reassign Ticket" and she can select people in her Family & Friends list.
She can also do this on the
My Disney Experience app by opening the menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen) and selecting "My Tickets & Passes." The tickets will appear at the top with the option to reassign them on the screen.
If you are not already, you will need to be connected as Family & Friends. To do this, open the app's menu, scroll to the "Account" section and open your "Profile." Click on the "Family & Friends List" tab at the top of the screen. Select "+ Add a Guest" and follow the prompts to connect with name, age (18+ for adults) and e-mail, with a linking code, or through Guests in the other person's family and friends list.
Hopefully, the tickets are already assigned to your mom and following these steps will have you saying, "Hot diggity dog!"
If you have physical cards and they have not yet been assigned to anyone, the best advice I can give is to try to add them by typing in the ticket information, if the barcode is not working. If you have any challenges, you can
call the Existing Tickets line for assistance.
Once your tickets are linked to each family member, you can create Boarding Groups and try to get
Virtual Queues. You will also be able to purchase
Lightning Lane entries. All of the whoozits and whatzits for these are available on the app's home screen.
If you have any challenges while you are in the theme parks, you can ask the Guest Experiences Team. Just look for the big blue umbrellas.
As you plan your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort or any other Disney destination, please come back to
planDisney. You have a pal in us!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
