I will be 5 months pregnant when i visit. This may sound terrible, but i am the least "worry wart" pregnant person ever. If a ride "restricts" a pregnant woman from riding, is it merely a suggestion, or will they actually withhold me

The cast members will not withhold you from a ride.

The powers that be at WDW err on the side of caution with the warning signs. Some rides that have warning signs have just a few bumps along the way (Test Track, Kilimanjaro Safari). Others are an all-out assault on the entire body (Expedition Everest, Mission Space). I myself did ride a few of the tamer "warning" rides when I was pregnant, but you have to use your own judgement and the advice of your doctor when it comes to all health matters.

There are several ways to make yourself informed about the "severity" of the rides: watch video footage on YouTube, consult guidebooks, chat with the cast member attendants at the attractions. After you're fully informed about what you're getting yourself into, then you can decide whether to ride.
