I will be 7 months pregnant fora September trip to WDW. Do you have recommendations for which resorts might be best to stay at? Which are the most convenient if I need a break while the rest of the group stays in the parks?

Hi, Jessica!  Congratulations and best wishes to your growing family!

The most convenient resorts from the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are the monorail resorts.  These include the Contemporary Resort, The Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian.  You might also look into Bay Lake Tower, a Disney Vacation Club resort located at the Contemporary.

There is transportation from any of the theme parks to the resorts through other forms of transportation, including buses and boats.  They may not be as quick as the monorail, but especially if you are going back in the middle of the day, your wait won't be too long for a way back.

You might enjoy Port Orleans French Quarter if you opt for a resort that is not on the monorail.  This moderately priced resort is a bit smaller and easier to navigate, and there are plenty of shady spots to sit outside and have a break.  It's one of my favorite resorts for those reasons - and for the beignets for breakfast!

Stay hydrated, don't push yourself, and don't forget to make sure to avoid attractions not recommended for expectant moms.

    Have an absolutely wonderful vacation!
