From all of us here at planDisney, welcome! We're so happy to see you here and thank you for bringing your question to us. I have been a Magic Key holder since the program's inception and I couldn't be happier! I love being able to visit the Parks multiple times throughout the year, especially during special events like the
Food & Wine Festival that's going on currently.
As you are aware, California residents are able to spread out the purchase price of a
Magic Key and make monthly payments. At the time of this writing, the Inspire Key is the only one showing availability for purchase, but the
Disney Parks Blog did mention that there would be more opportunities to become a Magic Key holder throughout the year, so keep checking back if you would like one of the other Keys.
When making a Magic Key purchase, make sure you are signed in to your Disneyland account when you place the Magic Key in your Cart. You will be given the choice to make monthly payments if you are a California resident. If you opt in to this choice, you will be charged an initial down payment, then monthly payments will be made towards the balance for the next 12 months. Per the Magic Key
Terms and Conditions, your Magic Key is not activated until its first use and you have one year to do so. If you are already a Magic Key holder and have questions about your payment plan, please call Magic Key Payment Plan Guest Services at 1-800-410-4656.
Be sure to follow the official
Magic Key Instagram account! They post the most up to date news that I have seen so far and I've really enjoyed some of the perks they've given to Magic Key holders! Also, I think the
Magic Key Terrance in Disney California Adventure serves excellent House-Made Churros and I think they are among the best churros I've had in the Parks.
