    We are still months away from our Disney vacations, if we purchase memory maker now, will it still be valid? For how long is memory maker valid after you purchase?

    Hello Alma!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Memory Maker is an entitlement that allows Guests to download all their Disney PhotoPass photos for one cost, rather than paying for each photo individually.  This includes photos captured by a Disney PhotoPass photographer, as well as ride and attraction photos and videos.  In fact, some animated magic shots and attraction videos can only be downloaded by Guests who purchase Memory Maker.  Check out this new Animated Magic Shot at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

    You are welcome to purchase Memory Maker in advance of your trip, and take advantage of the advance purchase discount by making your purchase at least three days prior to your visit.  I usually purchase Memory Maker as soon as my vacation plans are set, which is often several months in advance.  The Memory Maker entitlement will stay in your My Disney Experience account until you activate it by downloading your first photo.  Once you download your first Disney PhotoPass photo, you will then have 30 days to capture more photos.  Be sure to download your photos before they expire, usually 45 days after the photo was taken.
