Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney. Your next visit will be here before you know it, so I’m happy to help you prepare so you and your daughter can enjoy a comfortable and magical day at Disneyland.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is valid for the
length of the ticket or up to one year, whichever comes first. You mentioned in your question that you and your daughter are returning to Disneyland. As this is a return visit, it may affect whether or not her prior DAS pass is still valid.
If the ticket used on your daughter’s prior visit had DAS access and is still the same ticket you will use for her upcoming visit, then you would not need to reapply as her DAS pass will still be valid. However, if your daughter is using a new ticket to enter the park, then you will need to reapply to have DAS access added to her new ticket.
You can confirm this via the
Disneyland app. If your daughter’s inclusion in DAS is still valid, then your access should already be linked in your Disneyland app. To locate it, open the app and click on the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner. On the next screen, you should see a tile marked “Disability Access Service.” (This will also be your hub for using DAS while in the parks!)
If you do not see that tile, or want to confirm that your DAS access is linked for your daughter’s upcoming visit, then I would recommend
calling Guest Services to speak with a Cast Member. They will be able to review your account and help you determine your next steps. Also, since your visit is about two months away, don’t forget that you can use Disneyland’s live video chat option to speak with a Cast Member about DAS eligibility as early as 60 days before your park visit. This could give you some extra peace of mind before you arrive.
Jessica, I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared for your upcoming visit! If you have any other questions as you plan your Disneyland adventure, please stop by planDisney again. We’re always happy to help!
Enjoy your visit!
David
