Eileen, I know the excitement of being able to take a little Mouseketeer on their first
Disney Cruise Line vacation! When we first sailed, my youngest was two years old. I became a big fan of the
"it's a small world" nursery! and all the experiences available to my little ones. It was the perfect option for a family vacation. And my husband and I even got time to relax. With toddlers in tow, that's special Disney Magic!
For your question, Eileen, I'm sad to share the news that your plans will have to wait. Most itineraries
require children to be at least six months old. I have a feeling this will dampen some of your planning dreams. I'm sorry!
Once your child is old enough, I wish upon all the stars on the horizon that you can hop on board. The Cast Members on the ship are absolutely amazing! The Youth Activities counselors took such good care of my toddler. I dropped him off at nap time, and they sent a message through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when he woke up. We could explore the ship, catch a movie, or relax by the pool, knowing he was safe and cared for.
So many of my kid's childhood memories will be from aboard Disney ships. At any and every age (over six months), they are truly special. I hope you and your family have the chance to have the same fun, laughter, and memories that are unique to a Disney cruise.
Hoping to SEA You Onboard Soon!
