Ahoy there, Gerdie! Welcome, and thank you for your question.
The
Disney Cruise Line policies on vaccinations and pre-cruise testing are constantly evolving, as the cruise line works to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all guests. These
requirements to sail are established based on CDC recommendations and the current situation with our global health environment.
As of right now, the most recent information for your sail date regarding unvaccinated guests of any age - adults and children - indicates that a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken 1-3 days prior to sailing must be uploaded to the Safe Passage website by midnight of your sail date, prior to sailing. I know it sounds like an unpleasant thing to go through, but for my three grandchildren, all of whom are under the age of 5, it was just a minor nuisance. No crying, no discomfort, nothing more than an inconvenience for any of them.
Gerdie, I encourage you to visit the
Know Before You Go information page at least a few times prior to your cruise. It does change, so the latest information pertaining to your voyage may be different from the information available today.
There's so much to look forward to on your upcoming sailing! If you have a chance, I recommend booking some time for your tiny princess at the
"it's a small world" nursery! so that you can take advantage of some of the adult offerings onboard. There's nothing like a date night on a
Disney Cruise ship, with adult-exclusive
dining and a variety of
nightclubs and lounges to enjoy.
Have so much fun, Gerdie!
Anna
