Hiya Mama!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad to help you today as babies are what I do - at home, at work, and now at Disney!
My twin boys were in the NICU for almost three months, so I spent a lot of time commuting and storing breast milk. Once they were out (by the way, their first trip ever was to
Walt Disney World!), I had double the amount of bottles that I was used to keeping cool. I used both my Medela Cooler Set and the J.L. Childress 6 Bottle Cooler to store their milk. They are compact, soft-sided and easy to transport. You can find them or similar products at your local stores or Amazon. Also, both of them kept the milk super cold (which is essential for safe storage).
For your visit, I would also suggest bringing a small hard-sided cooler with you to the Parks and then
renting a locker. The cooler and the locker are a safe place for you to store your liquid gold while you enjoy the Parks. Take a smaller cooler when you pump and then transfer the milk when you have a chance to visit your locker. That way you don’t have to tote around a larger cooler all day.
When you need to pump, head to the
Baby Care Centers that are located in each of the four Theme Parks. They have private nursing rooms with outlets so that you can plug in an electrical pump. They also have a sink and microwave for you to wash out or sanitize your pump parts.
Lindsey, I hope you have a wonderful time. We are always here to help, so please come back, and in the meantime, continue being the rockstar mama that I know you are!
