My 9 month old grandson has a peanut allergy and milk/egg allergy. Do I need to let Disney know that before the cruise or when we board?

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jayne!

I bet you are getting excited to sail away with your grandson this spring!  There is so much magic waiting for you to share onboard.  Get your packing list going and download your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you are going on a Disney cruise!

Disney Cruise Line does a wonderful job accommodating special dietary requests, including allergies.  You will find your service team in the rotational dining rooms will ask about allergies before every meal and provide you recommendations for what is safe for your grandson on the menus or offer you alternative choices.  If his allergies are severe or life threatening, I would recommend you get in contact with Disney Cruise Line's Special Services team before you sail to discuss his allergies and ensure his safety onboard.

If your grandson will be spending some time in the "it's a small world" nursery during your cruise, be sure to discuss his allergies with the youth counselors in this space on embarkation day as well.  The open house on the first day of your cruise is the perfect time to check in with them.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Jayne!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
