My 8 month old drinks pumped breastmilk. Is there a fridge in the cabin that I can keep it in, or should we bring a cooler? Also, will we be permitted to take bottles of breastmilk when disembark at the ports of call?

Welcome aboard, Mollie! Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones very easy. Your whole family will be making magical memories onboard the ship and in the exciting ports of call! My family has set sail on many cruises with Captain Mickey, and especially when our kids were very young, we really appreciate how seamless Disney makes traveling for young families like yours! They really do think of all of the details!

There are mini-fridges in each of the staterooms, so you can store your bottles of pumped breastmilk in that, keeping it pretty handy right there whenever you need it. You will also be happy to know that Disney offers complimentary bottle warmers and bottle sterilizers available on a first come, first served basis at Guest Services, so you can save some luggage space and borrow those onboard to warm up the milk and sterilize your bottles.

If you'd like to bring a cooler to carry bottles of breastmilk around the ship or off in the ports of call, you may do so, yes. The cooler must be no larger than 12" x 12" x 12", and may just be used for storing breastmilk, (or medications or specific food for dietary restrictions). Since breastmilk is considered in the same travel category as liquid medication, you are free to carry that on and off the ship, however it must be taken on and off in your carry-on luggage, and may not be in your checked luggage.

I hope those details help as you get ready to embark on this magical voyage with your little one, Mollie! Please stop back and "sea" us here again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have other questions before you set sail! We're happy to help!
