Which month is best weather wise, April or May? My son wants it to be warm enough to swim comfortably. Thanks for your advice!!

    Sheri,

So I think that May is far better than April. The high's are a full 5 degrees higher (88 degrees, vs. 83). That really speaks to the mid-day and afternoon high temperatures when you would be swimming. The overall daily average is naturally higher, with May at 77 vs 72 for April. Finally, the lows (or what you can face in the evenings when you are out and about), 66, vs. 60. So regardless of when you come, you will want a light jacket in the evenings, probably.

As for rainfall, the rainy season really does not start until late May, early June, so that is kind of a wash (sorry for the bad pun!).

So it is obvious that the later you get in the spring, the warmer it will be. But the bump in temps will be notable for you if you can delay your trip until May.

FYI, these Orlando-area temperature averages come from the NOAA, so it is official!

    Have a magical vacation!
