Hello William! It is nice to see you here again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Buses,
boats,
monorails, and
Disney Skyliner, oh my! There is a dizzying array of options for transportation at Walt Disney World Resort. However, not all locations are serviced by all transportation methods. I am assuming you are referring to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, but if instead, you meant
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the answer is the same: both of these locations are served by bus transportation and cannot be reached by monorail, boat, or the Disney Skyliner.
Walt Disney World Resort covers more than 40 square miles, and getting around may seem complicated at first. Once you arrive and get oriented a bit, you'll discover it is actually pretty easy to find your way around. You'll see plenty of signs posted and Cast Members will be available to ask for help in figuring out how to get where you want to go. You can also use the
My Disney Experience mobile app during your visit. Select a destination, choose "Get Directions" and you'll be on your way!
William, if you would like specific directions or advice on the best way to reach a particular destination, please feel free to write back and let us know where you plan to stay. We'll be happy to help you understand your transportation options.
Anne Marie
