Does the monorail go alll the way around Disneyland. We are staying at the Disneyland hotel.

Hi Beth! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

You're going to love the iconic Disneyland Hotel. It's my favorite! From the retro styling to access to DOLE Whip right by the pool, it's got all the things I love. Plus, check out the headboard in your room. It hides a fantastic little secret we like to turn on when it's lights out for the night. Those magic touches are what set Disneyland Resort Hotels apart.

One of my favorite things about the Disneyland Hotel is the convenient access to the Disneyland Monorail. You're just steps away! We like to use Early Entry, a great benefit currently available for Guests of Disneyland Resort Hotels, and ride into Disneyland Park on the Monorail to start the day. The view on the way there is fantastic too, so keep your eyes peeled. There are only two stops, where you start and where you end. Coming from your hotel, you'll board at Downtown Disney District and disembark in Tomorrowland. If you'd like to use the Monorail to return to your hotel or visit the shops and dining in the Downtown Disney District, you'll board in Tomorrowland and be brought back to the Downtown Disney station. The Monorail doesn't visit Disney California Adventure or have stations other than those two.

While it would be great if it did, we find ourselves in Disneyland Park a lot during a trip and it's the quickest way to get into the heart of that park from Disneyland Hotel. It's extra quick because there are no additional stops, which I appreciate. It's a classic Attraction too, so it's a fun way to get from point A to point B. You'll also appreciate resting your feet at the end of a magical park day, riding back to your hotel!

If you're not familiar with the Disneyland Railroad, be sure to check it out. It's also more than a mode of transportation around Disneyland Park. It happens to feature some fun surprises you won't want to miss. Take it from one land to the next as you explore the parks, or ride all the way around to see all the hidden gems along the way. It's a great time to close your eyes or rest a sleepy baby or toddler if you've already spied all the fun touches.

    Have a magical time!
