It sounds like you're staying in the Disney bubble at a
Disneyland Resort hotel. I'm so excited for you, it's going to be an amazing time. I feel a little like Sadness having to share some not-so-magical-news ahead of your arrival. This is because the Early Entry benefit was discontinued at the beginning of the year and is no longer available. The good news is that each registered guest on your hotel reservation will now receive
one complimentary Lightning Lane entry to an eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction.
This pass can be used at any time during your resort stay and that includes your check-in and check-out day. The best part is that it doesn't have to be scheduled ahead of time. In the mood for helping the
Guardians of the Galaxy break out of the Collector's fortress? Just scan your pass at the Lightning Lane entrance and you'll be helping Rocket break the rest of the Guardians free before you know it.
While the
Disneyland Monorail is closed for refurbishment (gotta make sure it continues to glide as softly as a cloud), the walk from all resort hotels to Disneyland is quick and easy through Downtown Disney District. For Disney California Adventure Park, there's a
direct park entrance for guests staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Guests from the Disneyland Hotel can make their way through Downtown Disney District and Pixar Place Hotel guests can cross the street to the Grand Californian for quick park access (just make sure you have your hotel key with you to access the gate).
The
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is in full swing and I hope you take some time to enjoy all that the festival has to offer. I just returned from a visit and we enjoyed eating our way through the festival marketplaces. A couple of standout dishes for us were the
Pork Chile Verde Chalupa and the Asa’DOS. We also took time to relax and listen to
live music at the Paradise Garden Bandstand while enjoying some beverages. It was such a fun time! Check out all the details in the
