My teens want to have their own login so they can use the app while in the park and so we can book dining as smaller groups. They are already listed under our hotel and park reservations. How do we merge their accounts to what's already been booked?

Greetings, Lorna, and welcome to planDisney! Your family vacation is just around the corner, and I'm really excited for you. There's so much to look forward to, from immersive attractions to delightful entertainment, delicious food, and more. Let's make sure everyone in your family is set up and ready to go in the Disneyland mobile app.

You'll first want to link your teenager's theme park tickets in the app. After signing in to their Disney account, have them tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom corner of the screen (☰), and then "My Tickets & Passes" near the top. To link a ticket, tap the blue circle with a plus sign (+) at the top of the screen, and then tap "Link Tickets & Passes". They can use their phone's camera to scan the ticket from your device, type the ticket number manually, or scan the printed eTicket if you have that handy. If you're planning to use the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, linking their tickets to their devices will allow them to manage their own selections. And just as a side note: it's OK for the tickets to be linked to multiple accounts.

To link an existing Disneyland Resort hotel reservation in the app, tap that same icon in the corner (☰) and scroll down to "Hotel Reservations." Enter the reservation number, the last name on the reservation, and the arrival date. By linking the reservation, you could use the phone as a digital key to unlock your room at a Disneyland Resort hotel.

When it comes to existing dining reservations, there isn't currently a way to share them across accounts. Only the Guest who booked the reservation can see it in their app under "My Plans."

When I'm visiting the Disneyland Resort, I also like to use the mobile order feature on the Disneyland app. It's an easy way to order food from locations across the Resort and avoid waiting in lines. You can pay for mobile orders with a Disney Gift Card, too, which is convenient.

Make sure to take advantage of the Disney PhotoPass service to capture some great family photos against iconic backgrounds. Some of my favorite photos with my husband and kids were taken by PhotoPass photographers. If you have the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can enjoy unlimited digital downloads all day.

Lorna, I hope you and your family have an amazing time at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you think of any other questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
