Hi Moms We are looking to come to WDW next Oct to mid November, taking Halloween & Xmas parades etc, have been told the days over Veterans Day are v busy & some schools time conference days/school closures for then. How accurate is this? Thanks

    Hi Andrea,

I have been to the Walt Disney World Resorts during the week you mentioned. While this time of the year is busier now than when I visited, it is not the busiest time of the year.

Schools now all have varied schedules and there is always a school out for a break. The time of year you picked is perfect because you can still experience Halloween but Christmas and the winter holiday season is beginning.

One of my favorite experiences from my trip at this time was waking up and finding my resort completely decorated for the holidays. It all happened over night!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
