Ahoy, Ingerlise!
I know you are looking forward to a DREAMy vacation in 2020 with Disney Cruise Line! And I love that you are already thinking ahead about reserving a future cruise before you disembark the beautiful
Disney Dream. It's never easy to say goodbye, so having another cruise to look forward to is the best way to deal with your voyage coming to an end!
Ingerlise, my first suggestion is to visit the Disney Vacation Planning Desk as early as possible as it can be busy towards the end of your cruise. You can actually "join the line" from the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so you can wait from anywhere on the ship and make your way to Deck 4 when it's your turn. Currently, you'll receive 10% off a non-concierge stateroom when you book onboard (some blackout dates apply). If you aren't certain on a specific date while onboard, you can reserve a place holder cruise, which requires a $250.00 deposit per stateroom (pricing always subject to change). Place holders must be taken within 24 months of the date you book onboard. If you book a sailing that is seven nights or longer, you'll pay a reduced deposit amount. The deposit you pay is applied to the cost of your sailing and is refundable if
canceled by the paid in full date or if you don't replace your place holder with an actual sail date with the 24-month window.
Pirate Night is always one of my favorite nights onboard, Ingerlise! I love to see how creative Guests are with their pirate attire and enjoy seeing the Disney Characters and Crew dress up as well! You'll see head to toe pirate costumes, pirate-themed shirts, and Guests in pirate colors during the festivities. If you'd like to dress-up, I suggest checking out stores that sell Halloween costumes year-round. Etsy has lots of great options for shirts and accessories, or you can wait until you are onboard because the
merchandise shops will have some pirate garb for you to purchase. I hope one of these suggestions will help you plan the perfect pirate outfits!
Thank you for sending in your cruise questions. If you think of anything else before you set sail in 2020, please let us know.
