Hi Moms, We arrive Nov.1st at 10am and want to go from Pop Century to the Food and Wine festival at Epcot. If we take a bus to DHS and the boat to International Gateway, will we save time and walking distance vs. taking a bus to Epcot' s main entran

    Ann,

While I understand your excitement to get to the Food & Wine Festival ASAP, taking a boat will definitely be slower.  You will save walking distance, certainly, but I think the wait time would significantly detract from the benefit of that scenario.

Boats do not run very frequently in the Epcot/Hollywood Studios area, so you may have to wait several minutes for one to arrive.  They also make stops at the Beach and Yacht Clubs, and the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin areas, which takes time in each place.  If I were trying to take a boat from the Studios to Epcot, I'd allow at least 30 minutes travel time.  More likely, I'd not want to wait so I'd walk from one park to the other (this can be done in about 15 minutes).

If it were me, I'd stick with the bus directly to Epcot, and walk through Future World.  If I wanted to be ultra time efficient, I'd take a cab from Pop Century to the Beach Club, and then walk to the International Gateway from there.

    Good luck!
