    Hi Moms, My husband and i are taking our two boys to Disney world and on a Disney cruise In late June/early July. My son and husband both have food allergies. Are any of the character dining experiences better than others for food allergies? Thanks,

    Hi Stefanie! How exciting to be planning a Disney World and a cruise vacation! You'll find that your family's food allergies will be nicely accommodated at all dining establishments, including character meals, which should help put your mind at ease. When making your reservation, either advise the reservationist if booking over the phone or include details when booking online. When you arrive at your restaurant, remind your hostess and server of your needs. Last time we were at Chef Mickey's, for example, the chef came out and walked a family through the buffet, explaining the ingredients and making recommendations. Just be sure to let your needs be known.
