Hi Moms, I will be in disney from 11/7 - 11/13 with 3boy & 15yo girl should we spend the extra money and go to MVMCP have reservations that day for bkfst at Chef Mickeys and dinner at the Grand Floridian at 6:45pm should I cancel and go to party? Th

Hi, Michelle!  We really enjoy the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and other similar parties held at the Magic Kingdom.  The best part about them is that you can actually enter the park at 4 o'clock with your party ticket, and stay until the party is over at midnight.  That's really a full day at the park!  We find the lines for the rides are usually much shorter than you'll encounter during the day, and the added bonus to the event is the holiday parade and other holiday themed events.  In years past, they have also given guests cocoa and yummy Christmas cookies!  My kids would go just for the cookies!

I would probably keep the Chef Mickey's reservation, and cancel the Grand Floridian in favor of the party.  My kids have a lot of fun, and they would definitely choose a hot dog at Casey's and a DoleWhip over any other meal if it meant more time in the park!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
