Hi Moms, I am currently planning our 2014 WDW vacation for late May/early June 2014. My husband and I will have a 9-year-old daughter and a 7-month-old traveling with us. Which resort do you recommend for an infant, preferably a moderate priced resort?

    Hi Erin,

I love that you are already thinking about traveling to the Walt Disney World Resorts next year!

I would recommend Port Orleans Riverside Mansions or Port Orleans French Quarter. Both of these resorts are great for families. They also are close to the parks which reduces the travel time on the buses.

I recommend Port Orleans Riverside Mansions because they are located near the main building for food as well as near two bus stops. Port Orleans French Quarter is also a good option because some of the parks split these two resorts for transportation and the French Quarter is smaller with less stops. It also has a really fun pool.

Another option would be a family suite at the Art of Animation or All-Star Music. You would have a separate sleeping area, two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. This could allow you to put the little one to sleep and you and your older daughter have some time alone.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
