Hi Moms!Going in Sept with 4yoDD. Going to rent a stroller this time b/c such a pain on the bus!!! My questions is: Cost aside, should we rent a double stroller for her for the extra room or is it not worth the trouble of pushing around a bigger stroller?

Hi, Melanie!  If we aren't discussing the cost of the single stroller versus the double stroller, I would say definitely get the double stroller.  The maneuverability of the double stroller is not that much different from the single stroller, and in my opinion, it's so nice to have the extra room!  Whenever we have rented strollers in the past, I've always kept a beach towel on the stroller to keep the seat from getting too hot, and then I've always had a spare rolled up for the girls to use as a pillow if they got tired.  The extra room also allows for things like a snack or a favorite toy, and on some trips, I've had the spare space to put an extra bag or souvenirs.

You could certainly get away with the single stroller, but especially if your daughter is taller, the double stroller just seems like it would be more comfortable to me.

I hope you have a fabulous vacation!
