    Hello Moms,driving to WDW&staying at POFQ in Dec.Have dinner resv. at Whispering Canyon Cafe on Dec16 at 5:20pm.What is our best way to get to Wilderness Lodge-drive or bus?Not sure if we'll be coming from Park or POFQ.Thanks again,U guys are huge help

    Hi John! I'm so glad to hear you find the panel helpful. Thanks for letting us know! Port Orleans French Quarter is an awesome resort! As great as Disney transportation is, if you have a car at the ready, it can certainly be more convenient, with a few exceptions. When heading to Downtown Disney, I would always opt for the boat to and from your resort. The other time is if you're heading to the Magic Kingdom. The bus will get you closer than driving will. Once you park your car, you then have to take a boat or monorail to the park entrance.

    When we have reservations at Whispering Canyon Cafe, which is a family favourite, we usually make that day a Magic Kingdom day. It's so easy to get to Wilderness Lodge from there, as you can simply hop on a boat from the dock across from the park entrance. If you're going from your resort, then driving would definitely be the quickest.
