Hi Moms/Dads, We have breakfast at Chef Micky's 2/10/15 at 7:30. Then 9:30 Keys to the Kingdom tour. How long should we allow for monorail to MK ? How long would the walk take from CR to MK and can we leave our car at CR while we do the tour? THANKS!

    Hello Gail,

What a magical day you have planned. Starting your morning with Mickey and his Pals at Chef Mickey's and then heading over to Magic Kingdom Park, for Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, where you will be inspired by the dream and hard work put into making Magic Kingdom Park the most magical place in the world, sounds like a practically perfect day.

If you are driving to Disney's Contemporary Resort, I recommend valeting your car. This will allow you to park for your entire stay at Chef Mickey's and your tour. Once you finish dining you have two options; taking a leisurely stroll to Magic Kingdom Park will take approximately 10 minutes, or if boarding the monorail, Magic Kingdom Park is the 4th stop and will take approximately 20 minutes.

Once at Magic Kingdom Park, report 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour, at the Chamber of Commerce building. The building is right beside City Hall as you enter Main Street U.S.A from the front entrance.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
