Hi Moms/Dads, If we get busy or the bus is late, is there a fee for missing our dinner reservation? We have a party of 6 people going. No character dinning reservation. Thanks

    Hi Kristi,

It depends on where you're eating. There are a few Disney restaurants that require a credit card to hold the reservation. These are primarily dinner shows, signature (gourmet) restaurants, and character meals. If you miss your reservation at one of these places, then a $10 per person no-show fee will be charged to your credit card. If you're running late, the restaurants will generally hold your reservation for about 15-20 minutes before you are assessed the no-show fee.

For other reservations, there is no fee charged for a missed reservation.

So, the rule of thumb is that if you had to give a credit card number to make the reservation, then there will be a penalty for a no-show. If you did not have to give a credit card number to make the reservation, then there is no penalty for a no-show.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
