Hi, We (Mom,Dad,Kid age 7) will staying @ The Disney's BoardWalk Villas from Sept 20-26. It shows we should arrive @ 10:49 AM in Orlando MCO, Would it be best to start the parks on the 2nd day? What would be a great thing to do on arrivel day? Thanks

Hi, James!  If all goes well getting your luggage, you should be at your resort by around 1 PM, which still gives you plenty of day left if you want to enjoy one of the theme parks.  I'm not sure what type of passes you will have, but if it were me, and using a pass on a "half" day wasn't a big deal (like it left you one short for a full day at the end of your trip), I might do something like book a dinner at EPCOT, head over there and do a few rides and attractions, make my way to dinner, and end the night with Illuminations.

If you would rather not use a pass for that half day, you could head to Downtown Disney, with a reservation at one of the wonderful restaurants there (if you are traveling with children, you might want to check out the recently opened T-Rex).  Visit some of the shops, pick up a souvenir or two, have a fabulous dinner, and turn in early so you can hit the parks first thing in the morning!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
