Hi Mom&Dads! Love all your help. Staying @ WL over Xmas. Are the evening outdoor movies typically first run movies, e.g. Frozen, or classic Disney movies? Thanks!

    Hi, Michelle!

It's so wonderful to hear that the Moms Panel has been helpful with planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Nothing makes us happier than receiving such magical feedback from guests like you!

You are going to love your holiday stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge ~ you've chosen a beautiful resort with a relaxing "Pacific Northwest" ambiance and great dining options. (You may never want to leave!)

The "Movie Under the Stars" is typically a classic or contemporary Disney film. For the month of December (2013), the following movies are scheduled to be shown at 7:00 PM at Disney's Wilderness Lodge:

    Sunday ~ "The Santa Clause"
    Monday ~ "Winnie the Pooh"
Tuesday ~ "The Santa Clause 2"
    Wednesday ~ "Cinderella"
Thursday ~ "The Muppets Christmas Carol"
    Friday ~ "Peter Pan"
    Saturday ~ "Toy Story 3"

As a special feature on New Year's Eve (Tuesday, December 31st), "Monsters University" will be shown. Guests can enjoy the "Movie Under the Stars" in the comfortable outdoor setting of the beach area. In case of rain or other inclement weather, the film moves indoors to the Train Room at the adjacent Villas building.

I hope this helps you to plan your "Disney time"! Please stop by the Moms Panel again if we can assist you further prior to your visit.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
