Hi! I am a mom of 3. I have a 5 year old, 2 year old, and a 3 month old. We want to plan a trip to Disney with our extended family. All in all there would be 5 kids 5 yr old and under and 6 adults. What time of year and Disney resorts would be best for us

    Hi Misty!

How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World with your extended family! You will have a blast! I highly recommend the Art of Animation Resort for large families. Since you have three children, you will definitely enjoy having a master bedroom and seperate room with a sleeper sofa for the 5 and 2 year old. You can request a pack n play in the room for the three month old. You may want to request two pack and plays, one for your 3 month old and one for your two year old. You can request that the other families in your part be in rooms nearby your room at the resort so you can be near each other.
Another great location for large families is Fort Wilderness Cabins. Each family can get their own cabin and then do a cookout on the porch, gather together in the cabin for a family get together and have plenty of room to spread out. We loved the Fort Wilderness Cabins.
I think that the best time of year to visit is the Fall. The weather is cool, the crowds are low and the rates are great! If you visit in late September or October you can even go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which is so much fun!

    Magically,
    Stacy
