    My mom is going with us to Disney World. She has some military ID (my dad was retired army/national guard although he is deceased) for being a spouse. Does that qualify for the military promotion? Is there a way to found out for sure?

    Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As long as your mother has a valid dependent ID card, she is eligible for military discounts at the Walt Disney World Resort and she is also eligible to stay at the Shades of Green resort, located on Walt Disney World Resort property.

    The most popular military promotion dealing with park tickets is the 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets, which are an incredible deal. We are still waiting to hear if those will be renewed for the 2016 calendar year (they haven't been announced as of yet). However, Shades of Green also offers discounted Magic Your Way tickets as well. Check out their website (www.shadesofgreen.org) for details.
