So if me, my mom, and my sister all purchase lightning passes, but we want to do the rider switch because of my son who is under two, can one of us reuse the lightning lane to ride with the person who didn’t ride the first time?

Hiya, Karista! I'm thrilled to welcome you to planDisney, where we pride ourselves on service. I'm glad you popped in with this question to put our phenomenal cosmic powers to use!

With Lightning Lane passes, you've got some power in your corner and some heavy ammunition in your camp. Add Rider Switch, and you have a brand of magic that never fails!

Lightning Lane passes help you speed through the lines of your favorite attractions. There are so many rides included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass that are perfect for all ages, like Mad Tea PartyMickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Kilimanjaro Safaris. And then there are thrills for us big kids, like Space Mountain, Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest. So much fun! Rider Switch makes sure everyone gets to be a kid and have their attraction wishes granted, too.

Here's how it will work in the theme parks: All three adults need to purchase Lightning Lane passes. Ask the Cast Member at the Lightning Lane entry for assistance with Rider Switch. They will scan your MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass or Key to the World cards to set everything up, so you need to let them know who is riding first and who is going second. Since Disney is all about 'Ohana, no one gets left behind or rides alone! One adult can accompany the second rider, meaning some lucky person in your group can enjoy the attraction twice. That's some punch, pizzazz and yahoo! Wow!

Be sure to check out planDisney: A Guide to Attractions with Little Ones at Walt Disney World Resort for tips from my panelist friends! And Disney has a Toddlers & Young Children Guide with additional information, like character dining and other experiences at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Karista, it sounds like you have the perfect trip planned. Mom, grandmom and aunt... It's the best combination! People often ask me about taking little ones to Walt Disney World Resort before they are old enough to remember. This is what I know for sure: You'll remember. You will all have so much fun on your trip! And he will grow up hearing tales from your adventure together; they become part of his story, too. Starting now. Core memories for a lifetime!

If you have any other questions, planDisney has a powerful urge to help you out. You got a genie for your chargé d'affaires.
