Welcome aboard, Angela! This fall is the perfect time to set sail on the Disney Dream for a four-night cruise to the Bahamas! What a treat that you and your mother will be able to get away together for this magical trip!
Though schedules are always subject to change, it looks like Pirate Night will be on your third night, after your day at Castaway Cay. That night is a great opportunity to unleash your inner pirate! Bring your best scallywag accessories. Many guests will go all out that night in costumes or pirate accessories. Of course, there are plenty of pirate options for purchase onboard, but if you happen to have any at home, bring them along and save a bit of money! All guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN The Caribbean bandana to wear.
Since you're sailing in late September, you'll get the extra-special treat of Disney Cruise Line's
Halloween on the High Seas, as these begin on the Dream on September 7 and continue through Halloween night! Check out all of the details on Disney Cruise Line's website, and this quick
video about Halloween on the High Seas on the Disney Parks Blog! You may want to toss another costume in your suitcase, besides your pirate attire, because there will also be a costume party and contest for adults, and you won't want to miss Mickey's Mouse-querade Party. It is so much fun! My favorite part about this party is that even the Disney characters show up in their Halloween costumes! It really makes for some fun photo opportunities! Plus, the new magical pumpkin tree sounds amazing!
Have fun planning your spooky fun on this Halloween on the High Seas cruise on the Disney Dream, Angela! Stop back again if you have other questions, as I'm about out of room!
