    My mom is a retired veteran. She would like to buy annual passes for my family , her daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. Can she purchase them under a military discount if she does not intend to come to the park?

    Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your mom's service!

    Military discounts are available to retired service members and their families, including discounts for Disney Military Salute and Magic Your Way tickets, as well as special-ticketed events, such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Disney Jollywood Nights. I spoke to a Ticket Representative at Shades of Green Resort, and she explained that your mom can purchase annual passes for you and your family without having to purchase one for herself. You will need to verify your Florida Resident status, which you can do in the My Disney Experience mobile app. We've got ears, say cheers! I recommend purchasing your Annual Passes directly through Shades of Green Resort. Have your mom fill out their Advance Ticket Form Request, and email it to tickets@shadesofgreenresort.zendesk.com, and a Ticket Representative will call her for military status and method of payment.

    Annual Passholders receive many magical perks, including discounts on select dining and at merchandise stores, including World of Disney at Disney Springs! Passholders also get standard theme park parking, and you can add Disney PhotoPass downloads or the Water Park & Sports Options for only $99 more each (prices subject to change).
