Hi Alyssa,
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you and your mom have a lovely vacation coming up!
I love your plan! There is nothing better than booking your next cruise while still on board a Disney Cruise Line ship, so I'm glad you have a
placeholder booking on your list of things to do on your cruise. As you know, placeholder bookings allow you to make your deposit on a future cruise and also provide a discount on a future cruise. Keep in mind that there are some
blockout dates and terms and conditions. Booking your placeholder is super simple using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
While you have 24 months to select a specific date for your future cruise, if you know the cruise you have in mind you can select it while on board. Stop by
Guest Services (Deck 3 on all ships except Disney Wish, where it is Deck 4) or the Disney Vacation Planning desk (Deck 4 on all ships except Disney Wish, where it is Deck 5), and scan the
QR code on the "Booking Your Next Cruise" poster. Alyssa, there are times when the Disney Vacation Planning Desk is not staffed, so you may have to check back if you need assistance. You can also book a cruise using your placeholder booking by
contacting a Disney Cruise Line reservation specialist when you return home.
Alyssa, I hope you and your mom have some wonderful plans for your cruise! I enjoy spending time in the
Senses Spa & Salon Rainforest Room relaxing and catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while. I highly recommend it!
Thanks for sailing by with your question. Let us know if we can help you with more planning questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
