Hi, Michele! Thank you for bringing your question to us. The upcoming holiday season is such a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort! The parks will all be decked out for the celebration, and all of the Resort hotels even get into the holiday fun! I have a little tip for you - during your day at Magic Kingdom Park, try to take a bit of a break to see the decorations at the Resort hotels along the Monorail line, especially the life-sized gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a joyous way to celebrate the holiday season. I know sometimes our schedules do not allow us to get to Walt Disney World Resort until after these parties end. While I have not yet noticed any announcements concerning this, I do know that in previous years, there have been some aspects of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party incorporated into daily park plans once the parties concluded. When my family was in Magic Kingdom Park Christmas week 2014, we were able to enjoy the festive Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes during regular park hours. We also were able to find some of the treats from the party (that gingerbread cupcake was delicious!). You can keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog later this fall, which should announce if these activities will be continued this year. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park to check for current entertainment schedules.
Michele, I hope you and your family have a very merry visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by again if you have any further questions.
