Hello there Mom Panel! We are coming this June. I will be 8.5 months pregnant (I know I know.. But we love Disney). When we get there early and I rent an electric scooter (only in the parks) can we keep the scooter through the extra magic hours at night?

Hi, Gina! I am so glad you stopped by to chat with us about your question. I remember going to Walt Disney World Resort when my mom was pregnant with my sister. It was right in the middle of summer and, bless her heart, I still do not know how she managed it! Back then, there were no electric scooters, so she walked all over and kept right up with us. Well, come to think of it, we did take a LOT of breaks and rode lots of attractions located indoors!

The electric scooters, or ECVs, are such a welcome enhancement for guests who may need some assistance with mobility while experiencing the parks. They are definitely your ticket for an easier way to travel through each theme park! Many attractions will allow you to ride the ECV right into the attraction's queue and park it off to the side just before you board. I broke my ankle last summer the week before a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with my sister and was very thankful for the assistance those ECVs provided me! They were very easy to steer through all guest areas, even those twisty, winding queues. When you rent an ECV at the theme parks, you will be able to utilize it throughout the day, even during Extra Magic Hours. The batteries within the ECV are designed to last throughout the day, but please check with the Cast Member assisting you with your rental on the current locations within the park on the current designated locations where you can get a quick charge if needed.

I hope this helps you plan for your pixie-dusted adventures this summer! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
