Hi Mom! Love the panel! Have lunch reserv. at BOG in May2015. Was told would get email to book our meals 30 days in advance. Will we be able to specifiy slight modifications to meals when pre-ordering i.e. no muchrooms in braised pork? thanks!!

Bonjour Beth! I am so glad you were able to reserve a table at Be Our Guest Restaurant for your vacation. It has been my favorite Magic Kingdom dining location since it opened, and we have tried just about every dish there. The Braised Coq au Vin Pork is absolutely divine – don’t believe me? Ask the dishes! I actually just placed an order online for my own lunch reservation, so I have some tips for you.

You will be able to place your order 30 days in advance of your reservation. When you pull up your Reservations and Tickets in My Disney Experience, you will see a link to Place Your Order next to your reservation listing. As you click on each menu item, the available personalization options will be listed.

These are the options that I find on the website:
  • Menu items that contain cheese: uncheck box to omit either or both cheeses/cheese sauce
  • Entree that include salad: serve dressing on the side or tossed with salad
  • Entree that are served with pommes frites: choice for optional green beans jardinière
  • Kids’ Meals: Tomato and cheese can be omitted from entrees as noted. Also, the sides can be personalized with several possibilities, including finger salad, broccoli, pommes frites, green beans, peach applesauce, chocolate chip cookie, or no side.

  • I do not see a place to add specific requests, such as omitting mushrooms from a dish. If you really do want to try the pork, I would suggest you check in for your meal and instead of heading directly to your table, go through the ordering line. Cast Members inside will be happy to help you with any meal requests. While the line may look long, you should not have that long of a wait.

I hope you have a delicious meal, Beth. Let us know if you have any more questions about the ordering process.
