Hi mom! We will be on Disney Dream in April. I see in my document that we will arrive at Port Canaveral at 7.45AM on the last day. Do we have to eat breakfast before 7.45 AM and disembark right away? Or do we still have time for breakfast, luggages? Thanks

Welcome back, Anne-Cath! I'm happy to see that you've stopped back with another question about your Dream cruise this spring!

The final morning onboard is always a bittersweet one for our family as we've had such fun adventures at sea, made new friends and enjoyed lots of magical entertainment, but it is then time to head home. Usually around 7:30 a.m. the ship will be cleared for disembarkation. All guests should be off the ship by 9:00 a.m., but you are asked to vacate your stateroom by 8:00 a.m. so that the stateroom hosts can begin prepping the rooms for the next sailing.

Guests will be assigned a breakfast dining time for the final morning. If you have had main dining at dinner, you can expect to be assigned the 6:45 a.m. breakfast time in one of the main dining restaurants. If your family had the second seating at dinner, you'll be eating around 8:00 a.m. Alternately, there will be a breakfast buffet at Cabanas if you'd like to stop there for a quick bite to eat before leaving the ship.

The evening before you leave, you'll be instructed to leave your luggage outside of your stateroom by around 10:30 p.m. for pick up. You'll want to keep a day bag or two for anything you'll need the following morning. Or, if you prefer you can carry all of your own luggage off the ship in the morning, but it's so much easier to allow Disney to take care of the bags. If you've pre-purchased Disney Cruise Line's transfers to the airport and take part in onboard airline check-in, your bags will meet you back at your home airport. If not, you'll need to collect your luggage in the luggage area at the port before heading through customs.

You will receive detailed information on this the evening prior to disembarking.

Happy planning, Anne-Cath. Stop back again if you have other questions!
