hello mom my daughter is turning 3yrs old on augt and i was looking at the disney animal kingdom, i think it would be kinda cool waking up to a giraffe on your window, is this resort kids friendly ?? please help

    Hi Elizabeth,

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Disney Resort Hotels. Our oldest son loved the Savanna View we had during his first visit to Walt Disney World. Seeing the animals each morning was a magical moment for all of us. Our son still talks about how much fun he had identifying the animals with the Wildlife Field Guide we found in our room. The Uzima Pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge includes a children's wading pool, which offers a perfect spot for you all to cool off during August. Everyone can enjoy stories and roasted marshmallows around the Jambo House Campfire, and Movies Under the Stars by the Samawati Springs Pool is another nice evening activity. Samawati Springs Pool is just a short walk away at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. Check with the Front Desk for a complete schedule of movies.

I hope you and your family have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Bob
