We (mom, dad, twin boy and girl age 2) have a reservation for Brunch at Cali Grill! Do they allow you to step outside and take pictures from the rooftop walkway? Do they permit you to come back later and view the fireworks (as they do with Dinner res)?

Hello there, Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and submitting another excellent question!

I personally believe that Brunch at the Top at California Grill is one of the best-kept secrets at Walt Disney World resort! This brunch offering sweeps Guests up to the top floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and presents a bountiful feast that everyone can enjoy. Guests are welcome to relax and take in the views during their Sunday brunch while being listening to live Disney classic songs being played by musicians. You’ll be able to enjoy a wide variety of foods that range from not-so-standard brunch offerings such as sushi to more traditional offerings such as chicken and waffles. There are also many different libations Guests above the age of 21 years are welcome to enjoy!

At its heart, Brunch at the Top is a leisurely experience. You will not feel rushed at any point during your meal. Guests are encouraged to step outside and enjoy the sweeping views of Magic Kingdom. My family and I were able to take some spectacular pictures during our brunch experience!

You will also be able to return to the California Grill viewing deck in order to watch Magic Kingdom’s firework displays later that evening. Simply show the host your receipt from your meal and you will be escorted upstairs once again!

Have fun during your family’s September vacation!
