Hello mom and dad panel. I will be traveling to Disney World this July. I have three girls ages 4,6 and 10. Can you recommend where we should go for a good character dining either outside the parks or at Animal Kingdom for us. Thanks

    Hi Yolanda,

There is one character dining experience at the Animal Kingdom park. This is the Tusker House which serves breakfast and lunch, and features appearances by Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and other classic Disney characters. Tusker House is one of my favorite character meals on property. They have classic American dishes for those with tame palates, as well as many unique African dishes for the more adventurous. I love that my kids can have their pancakes and eggs, while I get to try something completely unfamiliar.

There are also several character meals outside the parks. You should choose based on your girls' character preference, availability, and your touring location. Your options are:

    - Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary, breakfast and dinner buffet: Mickey and the gang

    - Ohana in the Polynesian, family style breakfast: Lilo, Stitch, Mickey

    - 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian, breakfast and dinner buffet: Breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice and friends. Dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Cindy's step family

    - Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, breakfast buffet: Minnie, Goofy, and friends

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
