    My mom & dad would like to buy grandkids’ tickets. They used to have to be there the first time tickets were used, but with new online proof of residency option, is that still true? We want to start the day at open; they don’t.

    Hi Dallas and welcome to planDisney! I love to see that you’re busy planning your next magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for early next year!

    I think the best solution, is to visit the Disney Springs guest services location maybe the day before or a few days before you all decide to visit the theme parks. Your parents will be able to show their Proof of Florida Residency there and you can all enjoy a nice dinner! But it’s also super easy to do so at any of the theme park ticket windows. 

    I’m a Florida resident myself and I completely forgot to verify my residency for my youngest daughter’s ticket before our visit last weekend. So my family and I just got to the ticket window at the Magic Kingdom Park about half an hour before the park opened. It was a breeze, and we were still able to make it to the front gates as they were opening!
